A HUGE thank you to everyone who came down to Mount Pleasant on Sunday 15th February for PINK – BLUE DAY 2026 – an even more special edition of this annual event that was held a little bit later than normal in our season calendar. The 2026 event was dedicated to the memories of Phillip “PJ” Jeans and Vicky Mungazi who were two of the biggest supporters of the Pink Triathlon event and are sadly no longer with us. We thank you all for joining us, and Jayne, Vicky’s sister, as we observed a minutes silence in their honour.
We are sure that you all had a fantastic time and enjoyed it as much as the sponsors and organizers did and we welcome all the “newbies” who joined us for the first time – we look forward to seeing you at the remainder of our events on the calendar for the 2025-2026 season and when the 2026-2027 season gets underway in September.

Debi Jeans, The Pink Project and The Blue Project, Pastor Sam and all at ZIMWORX, Electrosalesand Duluxfor sponsoring the event and their unwavering support, Schweppes Zimbabwefor keeping us all hydrated with Bonaqua Water, The Draughtmanwho was on site serving delicious food and drinks, ZimCycles– for making sure all the bikes were in ship shape condition and race ready, Safeguard Zimbabwe– a fantastic team of ladies and gents who covered all the security needs and Safe Bag Drop Facility and to all of the wonderful supporters and well-wishers who donated prizes for the Lucky Draw which was held before the main events got underway (congratulations to all the winners 😊) and lastly to all the Triathlon Zimbabwe Technical Officials, Riggers and Support Staff for hosting the event.
We had athletes of all ages and abilities who participated across all disciplines – you SWAM, BIKED AND RAN for a truly special cause. It was a great turnout and wonderful to see the efforts made in getting in the PINK and BLUE – your outfits were fantastic 😊
All of the events were FUN races so no timing was done but “Positions” have been calculated as attached – these will also be posted on our website. Remember that it doesn’t matter what position you came – it is the taking part and you enjoyed yourselves that counts – and most importantly knowing that your entry fee has gone to a truly worthwhile cause !! Once all the administration and financial recons have been finalized we will let you know how much was raised – THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT 😊
