The President and Executive Board and members of the Triathlon Zimbabwe family were terribly saddened to hear of the recent passing of Mr Des Lawler.
Des was the patriarch of the Lawler family, father of our dear friend Shugs (Shaun) who was the Treasurer of Triathlon Zimbabwe until his retirement in 2017 and grandfather of Graeme, Kerry and Robyn. Des served Triathlon Zimbabwe for many years as our Honorary Auditor, a service he carried out meticulously and at no charge. In his advancing years he retired from this role to enjoy more time with his dear wife Helen and extended family.
