Today saw the end of our racing at the Africa Games in Morocco. We participated in the Mixed Team Relay event. 8 teams participated.
The order for all teams is girl/boy/girl/boy. Our order was Andie, Matt, Laurelle, Jordyn- starting with our strongest swimmers to ensure we are up near the front to enable us to be part of the pack on the bike.
It all went to plan, creating an exceptionally exciting event.
Zimbabwe finished 5th in an exciting sprint finish for 3rd, 4th and 5th positions. Congratulations Team Zimbabwe, you have a great future ahead of you.
