TRIATHLON ZIMBABWE ARE FUNDRAISING FOR A NUMBER OF PROJECTS WHICH INCLUDES THE RE-HABILITATION OF THEIR PRINCIPLE VENUE, MOUNT PLEASANT SWIMMING POOL. THE FILTRATION SYSTEM IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPLACED AND OVERHAULED COMPLETELY.

The Troutbeck ITU African Triathlon Cup, Trans Limpopo Junior Challenge and the Troutbeck Mile will take place on Saturday 16 November 2013. The African Triathlon Cup has been sanctioned by the International Triathlon Union and confirmed as part of a 7 Event African Series that includes Mozambique, Kenya, South Africa (2 Events), Morocco (2 Events) and Zimbabwe. With regard to the Troutbeck Mile-Open Water Swim, we will continue with this concept and grow it. We learnt a lot from this year’s “Pilot” and will improve in some areas, in particular how to deal with an increased entry.
